KeraVada was founded in 2012 by Demetrion Ware when he discovered that many products that were for African American women were not owned by people of color.  As he did more research he had also came to realize that the product ingredients in many of these brands were not healthy and many of them ridden with cancer causing ingredients.  

Mr. Ware stated, "I wanted to create a natural hair product company that women could trust and feel safe to use".  He goes on to state that, "I wanted to create products that actually did what they said they would do on the bottle".
